Start with Windows#

Turn on Settings → General → "Start with Windows" and WingHUD launches automatically each time you log into Windows, starting quietly in the tray rather than popping the overlay open right away.

App language#

Settings → General → "App language" changes the language WingHUD's own screens use — buttons, labels, the Hub, Settings itself. This is separate from the language your replies come back in; see Reply language on the Voice & audio page for that.

Kids Mode#

Settings → General → "Kids Mode" keeps every reply age-appropriate and simple for a younger player — turn it on if a kid is the one using WingHUD.

Force fullscreen borderless#

Settings → General → "Force fullscreen borderless" (experimental) stretches a detected windowed game to fill the screen without going into true fullscreen, so it looks and feels fullscreen while staying compatible with WingHUD's overlay. This is separate from switching a game's own display mode yourself — see Overlay and hotkeys troubleshooting if the overlay still doesn't show over a true fullscreen game.
