The Hub
What the Hub is#
The Hub is WingHUD's main window — it's where you sign in, run setup, manage Settings, and see your Home page. It's separate from the overlay you use in-game: closing the Hub doesn't close WingHUD, it just goes back to the tray.
Home and the Today card#
Home shows your pinned games and, only if your account has a daily usage cap, a Today card with a percent bar showing how much of today's allowance you've used. If your plan has no daily cap, the Today card doesn't show at all — Your games just takes up the space instead.
Add or remove pinned games#
Click "Edit" on Your games (Home) to add or remove pinned games — the same picker you saw during setup. Changes save the moment you toggle a game, with no separate save step.
Run setup again#
"Run basic setup again" on Home re-runs the same setup you saw the first time (games, hotkeys, voice, and Friends & party), pre-filled with your current settings — useful if you want to walk through it again rather than hunting through Settings for each piece individually.
Getting updates#
When a newer version is required, the Hub shows an update page instead of Home and blocks you from continuing until you update — there's no way to skip a required update. This runs in the Hub itself, not a separate window.
Opening WingHUD again while it's already running#
Opening WingHUD again — from the Start menu, a desktop shortcut, or anywhere else — never starts a second copy. It just brings the already-running Hub forward, on Home, and does nothing else.
Closing the Hub#
Closing the Hub window just hides it — WingHUD keeps running in the tray, and the overlay still works normally in your games. To actually quit WingHUD, right-click the tray icon and choose Exit.
