Last Scene
What Last Scene does#
Last Scene lets you react to something that already happened in your game — a kill, a death, a weird bug — without needing to catch it with a screenshot in time. While it's on, WingHUD keeps a rolling few seconds of your gameplay in memory; pressing no key set by default, or clicking the widget, sends those recent frames so you can ask "what just happened?"
Turn it on#
Last Scene is off by default — nothing is captured until you turn it on in Settings → Widgets → Last Scene. While it's off, the widget appears dimmed; clicking it explains why instead of trying to send anything. Nothing is recorded or uploaded until you actually trigger it, whether it's on or off.
Auto Send#
Last Scene's own "Auto Send" switch is on by default, so triggering it sends the captured moment right away with no question attached — the opposite default from Screenshot and Area Capture. Turn it off if you'd rather have the moment stage as an attachment so you can type a specific question about it first.
Sending too quickly#
Last Scene sends a few seconds of frames each time, so there's a short cooldown between sends and a cap on how many you can send in quick succession. Trigger it too fast and WingHUD tells you to slow down instead of sending; wait a few seconds and try again.
Watching the captured moment#
Your Last Scene message shows a small animated preview of the frames it actually sent, right in the chat bubble — so you can see exactly what WingHUD is reacting to, not just take its word for it.
Last Scene in a party#
With the party chat open, Last Scene attaches your recent seconds of gameplay to your next party message as a short looping clip, so your friends can see what just happened. It's sent only when you press Send, and a clip goes in a message of its own. Write @wingman in the caption to ask the wingman about it.
Sending a video file#
WingHUD can't take video files - you can't attach an MP4 or another recording to the chat. For a moment that just happened in your game, use Last Scene: it sends the last few seconds of gameplay WingHUD kept on your PC. For something on screen right now, use Screenshot or Area Capture.
