Dota 2 Draft Analyzer

Pick Invoker — best fit from your pool here. You need waveclear and magic damage versus Lycan push, plus Tornado/Cold Snap setup with Lion + Ogre. Save Tornado/EMP to punish Anti-Mage’s commits; don’t dump everything into Oracle’s False Promise.

2nd: Outworld Destroyer — strong personal record (58%/12) and current mid strength, but riskier: Anti-Mage can punish your mana pool and Oracle can save Astral targets. Pick only if you’re confident playing fast around Lion disables.

Pocket: Riki — excellent Archon mid meta (56.03%) and Smoke Screen is nasty for Oracle/Warlock, but Dire would be very physical and can lack Lycan waveclear. Better only if teammates can address waves.

What should I buy next?

Axe is already carrying Blink Dagger and Blade Mail. Without opening a build guide, the player asks out loud and gets an item recommendation tied to the enemy team and the job Axe needs to do next.

Asked in WingHUD

“What do you think I should buy next?”

Buy Black King Bar next. You already have Blink plus Blade Mail, and BKB lets you stand in Faceless Void’s control and Doom/Witch Doctor/ES spell damage, so you can actually Axe Call and start fights.

Counter picks for Sniper

A fast draft question gets a role-aware list, a simple warning about the matchup, and a cited data source.

Asked in WingHUD

“Counter picks for Sniper?”

Best counters to Sniper:

  • Storm Spirit — closes the gap instantly and punishes Sniper’s immobility.
  • Spectre — Haunt bypasses Sniper’s frontline and reaches him anywhere.
  • Phantom Lancer — illusions overwhelm Sniper and make Shrapnel difficult to use effectively.
  • Arc Warden — outranges and pressures Sniper while staying hard to catch.
  • Meepo — multiple units can jump and burst him quickly.
  • Primal Beast — strong gap-close and disables; excellent in fights.
  • Axe — Blink + Call forces Sniper out of position. Great fit for your offlane pool.
  • Pudge — Hook displaces Sniper and Flesh Heap helps survive his poke.
  • Centaur — Stampede gives your team reliable access to the backline.
  • Nyx Assassin — Vendetta initiation and Carapace punish Sniper’s spell usage.

For your usual roles:
Mid: Storm, Arc Warden, or Meepo if comfortable.
Offlane: Axe, Centaur, or Primal Beast.
Support: Nyx or Pudge.

Avoid picking a slow, melee hero with no initiation — Sniper thrives when he can freely hit from distance.

The strongest mid this patch

The answer does not stop at the highest win rate: it explains why the pick works and weighs it against the player’s recent results.

Asked in WingHUD

“What’s the strongest mid this patch?”

Strongest mid this patch: Riki.

  • Crusader–Archon: ~56.94% win rate, the best listed mid.
  • Strong lane pressure, invisibility-based rotations, and excellent pickoff potential.
  • Especially good into squishy supports and greedy mids — but be wary of Dust/Sentries, Batrider, Bloodseeker, Slardar, and Zeus.

For you specifically: Riki is the strongest meta pick, but Dragon Knight may be your best practical choice because you’re at 67% recently and he gives your drafts reliable initiation and frontline. Pick Riki when your team already has a frontline and the enemy has vulnerable backliners; pick DK when your team needs structure.

The player asks in plain language. WingHUD turns the latest Dota patch into the changes that matter for their own hero pool.

Asked in WingHUD

“can u summarize the last patch notes for Dota2 for me?”

Dota 2 7.41e — quick summary

Released July 30, 2026, 7.41e was mainly a balance patch plus the large Summer Scrub bug-fix/QoL update.

Biggest gameplay changes

  • Items: Abyssal Blade buffed; Butterfly shifted from agility toward damage; Eye of Skadi slow increased; Hand of Midas attack speed increased.
  • Healing reduction: Orb of Corrosion, Orb of Venom, and Cerla’s Crozier became stronger.
  • Mana items nerfed: Kaya, Kaya & Sange, Yasha & Kaya, Meteor Hammer, and Urn lost mana-regeneration amplification.
  • Defensive items adjusted: Satanic cooldown increased; Refresher Shard lost its bonus stats; Hurricane Pike buff duration reduced.
  • Infused Raindrops: Multiple stacks no longer lose charges simultaneously.

What it means for your pool
Your Invokerments, Zeus are a little weaker, while Axe lost some lane strength. DK mid remains a safe, stable option, and Zeus is support got a small upgrade. The patch favors less bursty mana-heavy builds — anti-heal/pickoff got a small but valuable boost.

Which mid heroes should I play?

This answer combines the current Dota meta with the player’s shown rank, recent results, and hero pool, then gives an order of priority rather than one generic hero.

Asked in WingHUD

“considering my performance and the current meta which mid hero should i play ?”

Based on your Archon 3 performance + the current 7.41e meta, I’d build your mid pool around these:

1. Outworld Destroyer — default comfort pick. Your best “safe” mid option when the matchup is unclear. Current mid win rate is strong, and you already have 15 games on him recently. Pick OD when your team needs a reliable lane winner, single-target burst against cores, save potential with Astral, or scaling into the late game.

2. Enchantress — your highest-performing pick. You’re at 60% recently, so keep using her when the enemy has weak early lanes, you can dominate ranged matchups, or your team needs tempo and tower pressure.

3. Riki — meta abuse pick. Riki is currently one of the best Archon mid heroes and fits your previous success against squishy casters. Pick him when the enemy lacks reliable detection, strong lane bullies, durable frontliners, or instant lockdown.

4. Dragon Knight — stable blind/utility pick. Your small sample is promising, and DK gives your team what you don’t sometimes lack: frontline, initiation, and tower pressure.

5. Invoker — specialist pick, not blind pick. Keep playing him, but only when the draft supports him. Your recent Invoker win rate is decent, but his lane and execution demands are higher.

Recommended priority:
OD → Enchantress → Riki → DK → Invoker

Macro creation · text

Interrupt a focus target without switching targets

A Rogue needs a common PvP and Mythic+ utility macro. WingHUD turns the plain-language request into a ready-to-paste focus Kick macro, includes a safe fallback for the current target, and explains exactly what each condition does.

Asked in WingHUD

“I’m playing Rogue. Write me a macro that uses Kick on my focus target without changing my current target. If I don’t have a valid focus target, it should Kick my normal target instead. Keep the Kick icon and tooltip.”

```macro
#showtooltip Kick
/cast [@focus,harm,nodead][] Kick
```

This casts Kick on your focus if it exists, is hostile, and alive. Otherwise, it casts Kick on your normal target—without changing targets. The #showtooltip Kick line keeps the Kick icon and tooltip.

A boss reminder before the pull

The player is already at the first Murder Row boss and asks for the melee DPS tactic. WingHUD answers out loud and leaves a readable checklist in the overlay while the game keeps running.

Asked in WingHUD

“remind me the tactic for the first boss in murder row please, im melee dps”

Kystia Manaheart — melee DPS tactic:

  • Start on Kystia, but swap to Nibbles, the mana wyrm, when it gets Illicit Infusion. Kystia has strong damage reduction while the add is alive.
  • Avoid Nibbles’ Fel Spray—move out of the frontal/ground effect.
  • Help interrupt Kystia’s Mirror Images when they appear.
  • When Nibbles is drained, it becomes friendly and applies Light Infusion, causing Kystia to become Destabilized.
  • Save your major cooldowns for Destabilized: Kystia is stunned and takes greatly increased damage during this window.
  • During the burn phase, stay in melee but watch the group and avoid standing in front of others for Chaos Barrage.

Simple priority:
Nibbles → avoid Fel Spray → interrupt Images → burst Kystia during Destabilized.

How do I get to Pit of Saron?

A quest and dungeon access question answered right where the player is standing in-game.

Asked in WingHUD

“Hey. Can you remind me how to get to the Pit Of Saron Dungeon?”

From Silvermoon, take the portal to Dalaran, then fly or travel to Icecrown. The Pit of Saron entrance is inside the Icecrown Citadel dungeon complex, in the Frozen Halls wing.

For the normal quest route, complete Forge of Souls first and finish “Echoes of Tortured Souls.” That unlocks access to Pit of Saron. You can also queue through the Dungeon Finder if your level and item-level requirements are met.

Best PvP head item for a returning player

The question gives the character and season context conversationally. WingHUD identifies the relevant bracket and the current best-in-slot recommendation.

Asked in WingHUD

“Hi, im a pvp player, i dont like pve at all, first time playing this char in the new season, whats the best head item i should get for pvp?”

For Midnight Season 2 (PvP / first season on this char), the best “head” pickup for Balance Druid is:

☑ Venomous Aspirant’s Leather Mask (murlok.io)

That’s the #1 head slot shown in the current Murlok.io Balance Druid 2v2 BIS for Midnight Season 2.

If you tell me what queue you’re playing most (2v2 / 3v3 / RBG / SS) I’ll narrow it to that bracket’s exact BIS target (head pieces can differ slightly by mode).
