Chatting about a game with no special widget#
WingHUD recognizes far more games than it has special widgets for. For any of them you get chat that already knows which game you're playing, looks things up in the sources that game's players trust, and checks the game's latest patch before answering about recent changes. What you don't get is the live-match or character-sync features Dota 2 and World of Warcraft have.
It remembers you in every game#
Memory works the same in every game, widget or not. WingHUD keeps notes per game on your level or rank, what you main, how you like to play and what you're working toward, and recalls your last few chats about that game, so you don't have to re-explain yourself each time you come back.
Pin a game you don't have a widget for#
Pinning still gives the game its own dedicated chat and its own place in the game bar and history — worth doing for any game you come back to regularly, whether or not WingHUD has a special widget for it.
A detected game pins itself#
The first time WingHUD detects you playing a supported game, it pins it for you automatically — you don't have to add it yourself in Settings → Games first.
