Chat history

The history sidebar#

The history sidebar lists your past chats, newest first, either for one game or "All" games mixed together — each row shows which game it was and when it was last updated. Click a row to reopen that chat exactly where you left it.

Delete one chat#

Click the trash icon next to a chat in the sidebar to delete it — this removes just that one chat's transcript from your PC, with no confirmation prompt, so make sure before you click. If you delete the chat you currently have open, WingHUD starts a new one automatically.

Deleting one chat vs. a game's whole history#

The sidebar's trash icon only removes that one chat's transcript — anything WingHUD learned from it stays. To remove everything for a game at once, including what WingHUD learned from your conversations, use "Delete chat history…" in Settings → Games instead — that's the permanent, whole-game version.

Starting a new chat#

Click "+ New" — either the one in the sidebar or the one next to the chat header — to start a fresh chat in whichever game you're currently viewing. By default, WingHUD also starts a new chat automatically whenever it detects you've switched to a different game; turn this off in Settings → Chat if you'd rather keep one continuous chat per game regardless of what's running.
