Friends & party settings
You#
Settings → Friends & party, first card:
- Display name - what friends and party members see. 3-20 letters, numbers or spaces; never your email.
- Friend code - Copy it to share; Regenerate gives you a new one and the old one stops working at once.
- Who can add me - Anyone with my code (default) or Nobody.
- Show what I'm playing - on: friends see your game; off: they see only Online.
- Avatar - Upload a picture (PNG, JPG or WebP, cropped to a circle) or Remove it; your initials show without one.
- Status - Online, Away, Invisible or Offline (the same menu as your status line in the Friends widget).
- Auto-away - shows you as Away after this long without keyboard or mouse input; 10 minutes by default, or Off.
The ⚙ in the Friends widget's header opens this page.
Party voice#
- Voice mode - Open mic sends when you speak; Push to talk only while the key is held.
- Open mic threshold - how loud you need to be before the mic opens; 0 means any sound (default).
- Push-to-talk key - Ctrl+K (default — change it in Settings → Hotkeys) by default. The mic hotkey stays the wingman's.
- Party microphone and Party output device - "Same as WingHUD" unless you pick others.
The cog in the party's mic bar opens this card directly.
Wingman in parties#
- Allow the wingman in parties I own - off keeps the wingman out of every party you lead. Members can @wingman when it's on; answers use the asker's game and allowance.
- Play the wingman's replies out loud to the party - when you ask by voice, the voice room hears the answer too; everyone can stop it for themselves. Typed questions are never read out loud.
Blocked players#
Blocked players shows how many people you've blocked; Manage lists them with Unblock. Blocked players can't add you or join your parties, and they aren't told.
