Terms of Service

WingHUD is currently an early-stage closed beta. It is free, invite-only, limited to testers in the EU, and provided "as-is" while we're actively developing and testing it. Please read the sections below on beta status and disclaimers carefully.
1. Who you're agreeing with
WingHUD is currently operated by Guy Almog as an individual developer ("we", "us"), pre-incorporation - there is not yet a registered company behind the product while it's in closed beta. Contact: guy@winghud.com.
2. What the beta is
WingHUD is a Windows overlay application that lets you ask an AI assistant for help while playing PC games, via text, screenshot, or voice. The closed beta is a limited, invite-only test phase intended to gather real usage data and feedback ahead of a possible future public or paid release.
- Access is currently by invitation only, tied to the exact email address you were invited with.
- Access is currently limited to testers located in the EU.
- The beta is completely free - no payment is required or accepted at this stage.
- Usage during the beta is uncapped for invited testers, to help us measure real-world cost and usage patterns.
3. The beta can change or end at any time
Because this is an early beta, we may suspend, limit, or permanently end the closed beta - in whole or in part, for you individually or for everyone - at any time, without prior notice. Features may be added, changed, or removed without notice. We'll try to give notice where practical, but we can't guarantee it, and continued availability of any feature or of the beta itself is never guaranteed.
If we end the beta, we will provide a reasonable way for you to request deletion of any data we still hold about you (see our Privacy Policy).
4. Your account
- You must register using the exact email address your invitation was sent to.
- You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You can delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings > Account > Delete Account inside the app.
- We may disable an account that violates these terms or is used in a way that risks the stability, cost, or security of the service.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use WingHUD to automate gameplay, inputs, or actions inside a game - WingHUD is an information/advice assistant, not a gameplay automation or cheating tool, and using it in a way that violates a game's own terms of service or anti-cheat rules is your responsibility, not ours.
- Attempt to extract, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to other users' data, our backend systems, or API keys/credentials.
- Abuse the service in a way intended to run up costs, disrupt availability, or circumvent invite-only access (e.g. sharing your invited email/account with others).
- Use WingHUD for any unlawful purpose.
6. AI-generated content
WingHUD's responses are generated by third-party AI models (see our Privacy Policy for which providers). AI responses can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. Don't rely on WingHUD for anything where being wrong has real consequences outside the game.
7. Intellectual property
WingHUD's software, branding, and website content are owned by us. Your own messages and content you send to WingHUD remain yours - we use them only as described in our Privacy Policy to provide and improve the service.
8. No warranty
The beta is provided "as-is" and "as-available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied - including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of - or inability to use - WingHUD, including but not limited to in-game outcomes, lost progress, or account actions taken by a third-party game or platform in response to your use of WingHUD.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves, especially when moving from the free closed beta into any future paid phase. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate notify you by email of material changes.
11. Governing law
