What the YouTube widget does#
The YouTube widget opens a small built-in YouTube player, so you can watch a video — a guide, a patch-notes recap, whatever — without alt-tabbing out of your game. Press no key set by default, or click the widget, to open it; it remembers your sign-in the way a normal browser tab would.
Ask about the video you're watching#
Once a video is playing in the popup, WingHUD knows which video it is — its title and channel — and can use that when you ask about it in the chat. It doesn't read the video's transcript or watch the video, so it can't tell you what's said or shown at a given moment. Ask it anyway and it says so, then offers to look the topic up for you; you can also paste the part you mean, or send a screenshot of the frame.
Open a video from a link#
Click any YouTube link that shows up in a chat reply and it opens straight in the built-in player, instead of your browser.
