00Why WingHUD?

Game help belongs on top of the game.

Browser tabs are slow, generic, and disconnected from the match in front of you. WingHUD keeps the conversation in-game so you can ask for builds, mechanics, fixes, and strategy without breaking focus.

Stay immersed Ask mid-session without leaving fullscreen flow.
Get context faster Use game detection, screenshots, recent moments, and memory instead of explaining from scratch.
01Flagship feature

Your hands stay in the game. Your Wingman handles the rest.

Keep the overlay closed, hold a hotkey, ask naturally by voice, and hear WingHUD answer out loud. No typing, no browser, no break in the moment.

F9 Voice Wingman

Voice Wingman

"What should I build against this lineup, and what should I do next?"

WingHUD responds with a short spoken answer while you stay focused on the match.

02Gameplay awareness

Last Scene

Ask WingHUD about the moment after it happens.

WingHUD keeps a configurable rolling buffer of your recent gameplay (up to 60 seconds). When something interesting happens—a clutch play, a strange death, a missed opportunity, or a confusing mechanic—simply press a hotkey (or click the widget) and ask WingHUD what just happened.

Unlike a normal screenshot, you don't need perfect timing. WingHUD already has the moment.

GAME A clutch play... or a confusing death.

Something happened and you want to understand why.

KEY Press the hotkey

No perfectly timed screenshot required.

ASK Ask WingHUD

"Why did I lose that fight?"

"What happened there?"

HEAR Hear the answer

WingHUD explains what happened while you stay focused on the game.

Up to 60-second rolling buffer No perfectly timed screenshot required Works without leaving the game
03How it works

Three steps. No tab juggling.

01

Open WingHUD

Launch the Windows overlay on top of the game you are already playing.

02

Ask by voice, text, screenshot, or recent moment

Use the fastest input for the moment: speak, type, capture the screen, mark an area, or ask about what just happened.

03

Keep playing

Get practical answers and stay in the match instead of digging through browser tabs.

    Learns your playstyle

WingHUD remembers your preferences, habits, and skill level across sessions, so advice gets more personal the more you play.

05Always current

How WingHUD stays current

The best sources, mapped per game

For every supported game, WingHUD maintains a continuously researched map of which community sources — wikis, stat sites, databases — give the best answer for builds, meta, items, mechanics, and quests. Answers pull from the right place for that game and that question, with the source cited in the reply.

Patch-aware by design

WingHUD tracks each game’s latest version and patch notes and briefs the model before it answers, so advice reflects the patch you’re actually playing, not last year’s meta.

New games, weekly

WingHUD scans for new and popular PC games and adds support automatically. The catalog grows every week.

06Supported games

Game-aware help across 200+ titles.

From complex RPG systems to strategy decisions, WingHUD helps where game knowledge gets deep. 200+ titles are detected automatically; these are the games where it shows best.

Dota 2 Draft Analyzer

One click reads your whole draft screen.

A dedicated pick-phase widget: click it (or hit its hotkey) any time during the draft, and WingHUD reads every hero on both sides, tells you what to pick for your role, and breaks down the matchup once you've locked in — no alt-tabbing to a build site mid-pick.

Every suggestion is backed by real, current Dota 2 win-rate and matchup data — broken down by role and skill bracket, not a generic tier list.

08Multi-language

Talk to WingHUD in your language

The overlay itself translates, and so do the replies.

Pick a language in Settings and the whole overlay switches live — no restart needed. Right-to-left languages like Hebrew get a real RTL layout, not a mirrored afterthought.

Lock in a language and WingHUD's replies come back in it every time, instead of guessing from what you typed. Leave it on Default and WingHUD keeps auto-detecting and replying in whatever language you write, exactly like before.

Example questions

Just ask WingHUD like you'd ask a teammate.

  • "What should I build against this team?"
  • "How do I counter this boss?"
  • "Where should I rotate next?"
  • "Can I win this fight?"
  • "Why am I getting low FPS?"
  • "Look at this screenshot - what am I missing?"
  • "What just happened in that fight?"
  • "Explain this item."
  • "What should I do after this death?"

09FAQ

Anti-cheat, fullscreen, and everything else people ask.

Why is WingHUD probably the best AI for gaming?

Because it isn't a general chatbot with a gaming skin. WingHUD maintains its own internal knowledge libraries per game — built and refreshed continuously — so the model can answer each game's hardest questions with real, current data behind the answer: the meta this week, this patch, your bracket — not a guess memorized at training time.

It's also tuned to you. WingHUD already knows which game you're playing the moment you ask, and over time it learns your playstyle, level, and goals — so the same question gets an answer tailored to your situation, not to some average player.

And it was built by gamers, just for gamers — not adapted from an office chatbot. Global hotkeys, voice in and out, widgets that live inside your game: every detail exists so you can ask without ever leaving the match.

Is WingHUD anti-cheat safe?

WingHUD is built to avoid the techniques anti-cheat systems object to. It does not inject DLLs into the game process, does not hook DirectX or DXGI, and does not read or modify game memory. It runs as an ordinary always-on-top Windows application next to your game, in the same way Discord's or Steam's own windows do.

To be straight with you: no third-party tool can promise an absolute guarantee against a false positive, and each game's own terms of service still apply. What we can say is that WingHUD deliberately avoids the injection and hooking behaviour that gets tools flagged in the first place.

Read the full technical breakdown →

Does WingHUD work in fullscreen games?

WingHUD works with games running in Windowed or Borderless Windowed mode — which is how most PC games run by default, and what most players already use for alt-tabbing.

True exclusive fullscreen is not supported yet, because drawing on top of it requires DirectX hooking — the same injection-style technique that raises anti-cheat risk. If the overlay does not appear over your game, open that game's display settings and switch it to Borderless Windowed.

Do I need an NVIDIA RTX graphics card?

No. WingHUD runs its AI in the cloud rather than on your GPU, so it works on any Windows 10 or 11 PC — including laptops and integrated graphics. There is no RTX requirement and no local model to download.

That is the main practical difference between WingHUD and NVIDIA's G-Assist, which does require a GeForce RTX card — see WingHUD vs NVIDIA G-Assist.

Does WingHUD record my screen?

No. Screenshot and area capture only analyse the image you explicitly choose to send. Last Scene is off by default, and when you turn it on it keeps a short rolling buffer of recent frames in memory only — nothing is written to disk, and nothing leaves your PC until you actually trigger it.

Which games does WingHUD support?

WingHUD automatically recognises 200+ PC games across competitive shooters, MOBAs, MMOs, RPGs, survival and sandbox games, and live-service titles. Because WingHUD reads what is on your screen rather than integrating with any one game's API, it can still help with titles outside that detection list — including technical troubleshooting like frame-rate and settings questions.

Is WingHUD Windows only?

Yes. WingHUD is built specifically for Windows 10 and Windows 11 PC gaming and overlay workflows. There is no macOS, Linux, or console version.

Do I need an OpenAI API key?

No. WingHUD handles the AI connection for you. You do not need to obtain, pay for, or manage your own API keys — unlike most open-source in-game AI tools.

What is "Last Scene"?

It lets WingHUD review a gameplay moment that already happened. Think of it like ShadowPlay's instant replay — except instead of saving a clip, WingHUD tells you what went on. WingHUD keeps a short rolling buffer of recent frames, so when something confusing happens you press a hotkey and ask about it. No perfectly-timed screenshot required.

How can I join the closed beta?

Request an invitation through the form on this page. Access is sent gradually to selected testers as the closed beta expands.

Invited testers install WingHUD from the Microsoft Store (no SmartScreen warning that way; a direct download is available as a fallback), then register inside the WingHUD client with the invited email address.

Is WingHUD available to everyone right now?

Not yet. WingHUD is in invite-only closed beta, and it is free for testers during that period. Public availability and pricing will be announced after the beta.

What is the difference between "Last Scene" and "Watch Me Play"?

Last Scene reviews a recent moment after it happens, and ships today. Watch Me Play is the longer-term vision for continuous live coaching, pattern detection, and post-session analysis — still in development.
