How does the Dota 2 Draft Analyzer see my draft?

It captures the pick-bar region of your own screen the instant you click the widget or press its hotkey — the same screen-reading mechanism as WingHUD's other capture tools. It does not read game memory or connect to Dota's game state integration.

Are the pick suggestions based on real data?

Yes. Suggestions are reasoned against real, current Dota 2 win-rate and matchup data, broken down by role and skill bracket, not a static list memorized at training time.

Does the Draft Analyzer know which side I'm on?

Yes, from your in-game nickname. It tells you your own picked hero (if any) apart from the rest of the roster, and separates your allies from the enemy team rather than just listing ten heroes.

Does using it count as cheating in Dota 2?

What it actually does

Smart counter pick suggestions: suggests a few strong options for your role, reasoned against the heroes already locked in on both sides — not a generic tier list, an answer to this draft.
After you've picked: analyzes the drafted lineup — your team's odds, the biggest threat from the enemy draft, and what to watch for going into the game.
Knows which side is yours. It reads your in-game nickname off the pick bar, so it separates your allies from the enemy team instead of just listing ten hero names at you.

The Draft Analyzer is backed by real, current win-rate data pulled per role and per skill bracket — Herald-Guardian through Divine-Immortal — from Ranked All Pick matches, not a stale, all-modes-blended average. If WingHUD knows your rank, it leans on the bracket that actually matches how the hero performs at your level, not just the overall number.

What it doesn't do: it never sees anything you couldn't already see on your own screen — no enemy intentions, no hidden information, nothing Dota itself isn't already showing you. It's reading a screenshot and reasoning about it, the same category of help as a build guide or a teammate, just without leaving the client.
