Talk with up to five friends by voice and text, on top of whatever each of you is playing — the same game or different ones. The wingman sits in the party too: anyone can ask it, out loud or with @wingman in the chat, and everyone gets the answer, labelled with who asked and whose match it used. Add friends with a code or a link, start a party, and talk. Nothing is recorded: voice is never stored, and party chat is deleted a day after the party ends.
Four friends, three games, one room — and a wingman answer that says whose match it used.

Click Party on the game bar, start one, and invite friends who are online — they get a small pop-up over their game with Join.
Voice starts on its own. Type, share a picture, or ask the wingman — out loud or with @wingman.
When someone asks, the wingman answers with their game context — their live match, their profile, what WingHUD remembers about them — and every answer says so: “answered for Razr · using Razr's live match.” It knows who's in the party and what each of you is playing, so group questions work too: “what should the three of us play tonight?”
It never guesses another member's stats, and it won't bring up your own remembered notes in front of the party unless you ask. The answer counts toward the allowance of whoever asked — parties themselves don't use anyone's. The party leader can switch the wingman off for the party.
Party voice goes live between members and is never recorded. Party chat and pictures are only for the party's members and are deleted 24 hours after the party ends. Other players see your display name and friend code — never your email.
| What | Who sees it |
|---|---|
| Display name | Your friends, players you send a request to, your party, and anyone who opens an invite link you share |
| The game you're in | Your friends and your party — or nobody, with “Show what I'm playing” off |
| Party chat and pictures | Party members, until 24 hours after the party ends |
| Party voice | Members in the room, live only |
Block and report from day one: every friend row and every member's avatar has Block and Report. A blocked player can't add you or join your parties; a report sends the last 30 messages of the party to the WingHUD team. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what's kept and for how long.
No. Party voice goes live from your microphone to the other members and is never recorded or stored. WingHUD keeps only when each member joined and left a party's voice, for 180 days, to measure usage. Party text is deleted 24 hours after the party ends.
The person who asked. Parties, party chat and party voice don't use anyone's allowance; a wingman answer counts toward the allowance of whoever asked for it, and it uses that person's own game context.
Yes. Everyone in a party uses WingHUD on Windows 10 or 11. A friend who doesn't have it can install it free during the open beta, or you can email them an invite: open the Friends widget, click Invite to WingHUD and type their email. When they sign up, you start out as friends.
No. Party voice only makes outgoing connections, so there is nothing to forward on your router. If voice stays on Connecting, a firewall or security suite is usually blocking WingHUD; allow it there.
Yes. WingHUD's party voice works alongside Discord or any other voice app. Keep only one of them hearing your microphone if you don't want to be heard twice.
Up to six players, plus the wingman. Each of you can be playing a different game.
